The recent sunny weather in East Iceland has been put to good use for monitoring and assessments.
One particular highlight was the larch at Davíðsstaðir; growth has exceeded expectations, with the tallest measured plant reaching nearly 80 cm in height.
It is always gratifying to see such clear results. Regular monitoring provides valuable insight into how different tree species thrive under varying conditions, allowing us to use that knowledge to cultivate even stronger forests for the future.
We look forward to compiling the assessment results in the coming days.
